Veer comes to perform Pushkar's last rites. He admits that he had tried to kill Bani the previous night but says that he is repentant. Veer says that although he was Jai's child, it was Pushkar who was his father. Now that Veer is repentant, Bani asks him to stay in their house. Pia isn't happy about this. The bus in which Ganga and Rishi are travelling breaks down. A hoodlum tries to get fresh with Ganga, so Rishi thrashes him. Krishna is upset and angry to learn that Veer is Jai's son and tells her parents that she will never accept him.
